I have no problem using Powerpoint, but when I go to close it I receive an
error message & it will not close - have to turn computer off.
Also I encounter problems with Outlook closing in the middle of doing work.
I have run the diagnostcs & it show no problems.
I would like suggestions.

Step one, install all Windows and Office updates.

Step two, update the video card driver.

If that doesn't fix it holler back.

What Austin said. And when reporting this kind of thing, its helpful to do a
couple more things:

1) Report full version information for PowerPoint including any installed
Service Packs.

2) Quote the *exact* text of any error messages. The fact that there was an
error message tells us that there was a problem. No more. The actual message
will help determine WHAT the problem was, what caused it and how to fix it.

Hint: you can usually press Ctrl+Shift+C to copy the text from error messages,
then paste it into a notepad file or someplace else for storage until you're
ready to post it here.
