Does it make a difference which operating system you have
for any version of PowerPoint?? For example, we have
PowerPoint 10 and our OS is XP Professional. We wanted to
make sure if we made a presentation that our client could
view it on their system.

The operating system doesn't matter FOR THE MOST PART. However, the version
of PowerPoint does. If you use the emphasis, exit or motion path animations
in PPT 2002, those who are using older versions of PPT will not be able to
see them.

One workaround for this is to use the new PPT viewer. It runs on any Windows
version from Win 98SE on. For details on that, see this PPT FAQ entry:

Chrystal,

Your choice of fonts and what version of powerpoint you use would be more
critical than the windows OS version.

Make sure you and your client have the same fonts that you use, and the same
powerpoint version
