PowerPoint Open Diaglogue Box - View default

When I open the "Open" dialogue box I can change the view to "list" (my
preferred view) but it defaults back to "preview" the next time I go into it.
How can I stop this? It doesn't happen in any of the other applications.

What version of Windows? Vista does this by default, remembering by
application, from what I've seen.
