PowerPoint Navigation Issue in Presentation

Hi there, I would like to know how to create and manage multiple internal
links that will easily navigate me to any slides in presentation. I'm tired
of its original "Go to Slide" feature in PowerPoint if there're enormous
slides here. But I don't want to create too many links in each page for
navigation.

By the way, I found a tool called Wondershare PPT2Flash which can made slide
thumbnails in presentation, see below:

I meant navigation in presentation like this, but it was Flash slideshow made
from PowerPoint. Is it possible to do this in PowerPoint?

Thanks.

It is certainly possible.

1. Create the presentation
2. Save each slide as a jpg ("save as" menu)
3. Insert each jpg in a strip at the bottom of the first page, re-size,
re-position and re-align as required.
4. Hyperlink each picture to the appropriate slide ("action settings" menu)
5. Copy the strip of jpgs to all subsequent slides
6. Check that the hyperlinks still work - sometimes they need to be re-set
if the object is a copy.

You can insert the picture into an autoshape to get the curved corners; and
you can play with transparency in the animation menu to get somethin akin to
the fade effect.

I made a presentation as you said.
But the slide thumbnails can't be animated in my presentation.

Besides, the file size of the PowerPoint became too large than a Flash.
Any idea to compress pictures in PowerPoint?

I need to post the presentation in tomorrow's independence day.

Huge thanks.

Hi

It may be too late to tell you this, but quick ways to compress pictures:
File -> Save as -> tools -> compress pictures.
Doesn't work as well as my favourite cut -> edit -> paste special -> jpg or
png but is a great deal quicker.
