Powerpoint Master Slides

During the running of a presentation my master slide
(plain background, jpeg) do not always appear on every
slide. The problem seems to be random and rebooting the
system seems to temporarily solve it. I have 250 mg of ram
on my system and do not run any other programs at same
time as presentation.
