powerpoint locked up

Help!
Spent last few hours completing ppt project when I tried
to close the program locked up. I can get into other
programs but the only thing I can do for ppt is to "end
now". If I do that, I lose all the work I have done in
the last few hours. Please help me.

Try hitting CTRL+S before doing the "end now." You never
know, it might actually save.

If you do have to use the "end now" thing, try to find a
TMP file which might hold much of your work.
