Right-click the textbox, choose custom animation.

Add Effect | Entrance | Appear.

Right-click the effect in the custom animation task pane, choose Effect
Options.

On the Effect tab, choose to Animate Text "by word" or "by letter." You can
adjust the delay until it reflects what you're after.
