I have followed all the steps that were given to me to take a ppp and add a
link to frontpage for viewing. Did this and went to preview in frontpage all
looks ok except the music isn't playing.
My question is which may sound dumb but in the directions NO one gave this
info. My site is at geocities, do I have to upload every part of my slide
show. My slides are in a file and just the thought of having to upload all
just made me ill.

I know with everything else at geocities, if its on a page then you have to
upload it.

Any help with getting this done right will be greatly appricated.

Thanks for any help.

If you want the slide show to work, then it must ALL be uploaded.
A PowerPoint slide show normally consists of one (very large) file -
or have you used a different format, such as HTML pages?
I know with everything else at geocities, if its on a page then you have to
upload it.

Same applies with every host - a page will only display what has been
uploaded to the server.

Thanks for the help. In pp I saved the file as a webpage because thats what
it said to do to take it into FP. Is there another way to get the powerpoint
slide show to play on the web from my site.

I just knew all those files would have to be uploaded, it just seems like
there are just way to many for me to want to do all that.

Thanks for the help. I just want people to click on a link and view the
slide show. I burned the slides to a CD with pack n go that didn't work. It
did the first time you viewed it on a computer but then the second time you
tried to play it the CD acted strange like it locked up, I had to hit the ESC
key and then for some reason the CD worked.

Thanks again for you help.

You would have to import the actual presentation into FP, then link to it, however each site visitor
must have PowerPoint or the PowerPoint Viewer installed to view the presentation.

I did import it as the instructions I followed stated. I am in the process
of uploaded all the files to geo. I hope then everything works out. I
created a page that has a link to the ppp. I'm not sure if there is something
I'm missing with the linking though.

You shouldn't have to do anything else for it to work.
