I recently had a new hard drive installed because I had many problems with my computer. I lost PowerPoint, however I still have the cd. The problem is that I don't have that varification code so it won't install. Is there anyway to get around that?

You will need to contact Microsoft directly, explain your situation to their
rep., and hope for a mutually agreeable solution.

Contact Microsoft - Support, Sales, Replacement Media, etc.

You need to install Office or PowerPoint but don't have a CD reader on your
computer ... is that the problem?

We are not Microsoft, nor are we Microsoft employees. We are volunteers
who answer PowerPoint questions. We cannot provide you with a working
serial number. However, Microsoft can. that is why Bill suggested that
you contact Microsoft. I'm sorry that we are unable to help.
