PowerPoint in server

I am opening powerpoint in server to convert ppt2gif. I
want to make it as light process as posssible, anyone has
any recommendation on how to setup powerpoint in my server
to make it least taxing.

PowerPoint is single instance app. You will run into problems while
attempting to run concurrent PowerPoint sessions. It can be done though by
running single instances on multiple machine controlled from a central
server.
