OK, what I'd suggest trying:
File, Save As Web Page then click the Publish button on the Save As dialog
box.
On the resulting dialog box, you can choose to extend support to several
older
browsers and/or click Web Options for even more ... well ... Web Options.

To get the best fidelity to the original PPT you'll need to view the thing
in
MSIE, but changing some of these other options should help with the view
from
FireFox. Not sure you'll get as far as being able to see notes and nav
controls, which may depend on controls unique to MSIE, but it's worth a
try.
