powerpoint in a browser

When I access a powerpoint presentation from a web site
that I have created and click through the slides I keep
getting the following message: This file has been
modified... do you want to save changes? How do I stop
this from happening?

How exactly are you accessing the file? That is,

where is the PPT file (on your local drive, a network server, a web server,
etc?),

how are you accessing the file (via network, http, ftp, etc)

what program are you in (browser, win explorer, front page, etc?)

when you (click a link, doubleclick an icon, spin round three times and yell
RUN at it, etc?)
