I have seen presentations showing how a computer screen looks when you access
it for classes teaching some computer courses. How do I get the image of the
computer screen into my PowerPoint presentation?

There are lots of options. The simplest thing is the Print Screen button on
your keyboard. This will copy a picture of the screen, which can then be
pasted directly into PowerPoint or to any image editing software (better to
paste to image editing software, save the file, and then Insert > Pictures
From File). There are lots of programs that will give you more options
for screen shots (such as Camtasia and Print Key).

You could bring up the screen you want to display, press Shift+Print Scrn,
then open an image editor and choose Paste. That should create a bitmap of
the computer screen image, which you can then import into PowerPoint as an
image.

Thank you, but I have been unable to get the print screen function to work on
my work computer. I will try my home computer later this evening to see if I
can get it to work.
