Can a hyperlink to a specific file be made so no matter what drive the file
is on it will link to it. For example, I am using a ppt presentation from a
CD and on my computer that is the "e" drive and then I take that CD to
another computer where the CD player is the "f" drive, can I get the link to
know it is still on the CD?

If you don't have a version of PPT that includes Publish to CD or in case it
doesn't work, have a look at our (commercial) FixLinks add-in for PowerPoint,
which will allow you to this in PPT 2003 and previous.
