Can you hyperlink animated objects ?

If you mean hyperlink from an animated object, then yes. Just set the
hyperlink like you would any other hyperlink. If you mean hyperlinking to
an animated object, then you probably want to use animation triggers to
fire the animation of the object.

Hi David,
Thanks- I am linking from one page to two different locations. One of the
locations will continue to the next slide, the other one will need to have an
additonal hyperlink to skip a slide. For example slide 4 has the two links- A
will link to slide 5, B will link to slide 6. Then slide 5 which is all
animation needs to link to slide 7. The issue is that there is not a link to
be selected on slide 5 since it is all animated.
Is there a way to link or do I need to anchor a link and require a mouse
click for it to work???

It's possible to arrange for transparent shapes to appear in the animation
sequence and trigger mouse over hyperlinks

BUT

You will probably need to arrange for the pointer to be always visible to do
this. You can use kiosk mode, press ctrl A at the the start of the show or if
it's on your own PC we have a free add in to acheive this in normal show mode.

I hope that John answered your question because I'm still not sure what
you want to have happen on Slide 5. Is this an automatic link; i.e.,
whenever the user is done with slide 5, it will go to slide 7, or are
they supposed to click on something specific. If so, when are they
supposed to click on something specific? If it is automatic, then I
would suggest some kind of custom show. For example, put slide 5 and 7
in a custom show. The link on slide 4 link will link to the custom show,
and it will automatically jump from slide 5 to slide 7. Alternatively,
you might hide slide 6. The link from slide 4 to 6 will still work, and
after slide 5 is done, it will skip slide 6.

If the jump from 5 to 7 is supposed to be triggered by a click of
something, then that something, whether it is animated or not, should
have the hyperlink assigned to it. Alternatively, John's solution might
be what you want.
