PowerPoint hyperlinks and Package for CD

I have a presentation with lots of hyperlinks in it.
It works fine until I "Package for CD"
option. Once burnt to CD, it brings up the same slide in the
presentation no matter what link you click. Do you have any ideas? I
checked all the links and they look fine.

Also, do you happen to know if
you can create an action button which will actually close the
presentation when you click on it? What I am doing is using one
presentation as an index with links out to other presentations. The
problem is every link you click it opens another presentation with out
closing the previous one. Meaning when you are done, you have oodles
of presentations to close before you get back to your desktop.

You may want to consider custom shows and use this macro:

Sub ExitAllShows()
Do While SlideShowWindows.Count > 0
SlideShowWindows(1).View.Exit
Loop
End Sub

And set the Action Settings on your Exit button to run the macro.

Choose End Show as the action setting.
That'll do exactly what you need.

Thanks for the input... we realized the PPT viewer was having trouble linking
to a specific slide in a show that was not currently running. We merged all
the shows into one show and the hyperlink index works fine using PPT viewer.
