Powerpoint has no power?

This just happened this morning. I cannot edit any powerpoint graphics, nor
can I create one, even on a blank presentation. I've had no new
installations of any software. I'm running an XPS Laptop with Core2 and 4GB
RAM so I know it's not the hardware. It takes at least 5 minutes to open a
2.5MB presentation and then it just freezes when I try to edit a slide
(especially graphics). I have done virus scans with no hits. I've done a
"repair" with the Office '07 CD. I'm lost!

You've GOT to be kidding me? Simply changing the default printer to one that
is available cured it. Absolutely Rediculous!!

This should fix it:

PowerPoint 2007 text editing slow, text cut off, text display or formatting
problems, print, crash problems

I'm glad the fix was an easy one, though. Thanks for letting us know it
worked for you.
