I am trying to print a powerpoint presentation using Handout printing mode.
The presentation has quite a few text boxes that print with a black border in
Handout mode even though there is no border in normal presentation mode.
Does anyone have any idea how to do away with this border? Thanks.

Are you printing in Black and White / Greyscale. Try going to Greyscale view
method depends on your version, always good to qupte it!) Right click on
shapes that do this and choose greyscale settings > white. Now print in
Greyscale.

Usually the black border indicates that the text box has a fill. Maybe this
is white and you could go to no fill?

Sorry I'm using Office 2003. I think that the .ppt was created in 2007. The
text boxes do have a fill as they are covering over existing text in some
pictures. I tried changeing the "No Fill" color of the border to "White" and
the text box border still showed up. The slides are printing in Gray scale
currently. Thanks.
