Together, the saved file and its like-named hidden folder constitute a
"thicket". Supposedly (hopefully) any application (such as Windows Explorer,
FrontPage, and PowerPoint) will open, move, copy, rename, and/or delete the
thicket as if it were a single file.
Thickets are needed because a Web page requires multiple files (i.e. one for
every picture) while native Office couments do not.
