I don't know if this is a PP question or Outlook. I have a PPT presentation
to send via Outlook. There is also an Excel file that is part of the
presentation that I have a hyperlink that opens it from within the
presentation. Is there a way when the recipient of the email gets the
attachments for him to open the PPT and when he get to the hyperlink click on
it and it will go to the attached Excel file and open it?

Put the Excel file in the folder with the PPT file, then create the link to
it. Then zip the folder. Mail that zipped file with instructions to save it
to the harddrive and unzip it on the other end. That way both files will be
in the same folder (even if not on the same file path), and so the link
should work.

You might also check into PFC Express. Not sure if it will work with the
Excel link or not, but I think it might. http://www.pfcmedia.com

I have an amazing idea for you !
You can convert the "ppt" file to flash.
Why?
a. the flash can completely maintain the powerpoint slide show animations
and transitions.
b. you can add attachments to each slide of your ppt
c. you can publish it as email format, 10M ppt can be reduced to 200k ,which
appropriate to send via email
d. the flash won't be distorted no matter what size screen you are using.
