Does anyone know of any web based Power Point File Management solutions?
Would like it to be able to manage the power point files and allow a user to
pick and choose slides to make a new deck. I have only found one called
QPShare, are there any others? Is there a share point option or plug in to
do something similar?

Hello,

Pragmatech offers products called inciteKnowledge and Presentation Express.
inciteKnowledge is the Web based programs that manages slides in a database
and Presentation Express in the user interface. Visit www.pragmatech.com for
information. Or you may email me at sjohnson(at)presentationwiz(dot)biz.

P.S. I also work with a company that had a custom program designed. If this
is something of interest to you let me know. See my email address in previous
post.

In addition to Sandy's suggestions, google SlideWhere for another option.

Which version of PowerPoint do you use? Which version of SharePoint do you
use? If you have the newest version of both (Office 2007 and SharePoint
Server 2007), you can store your slides in a built-in Slide Library.

Best regards,
Ute

Thank you for your responses, I appreciate the help. Through my research
efforts I have discovered the following products:
www.qpshare.com - QP Share
www.bluegrotto.com - Slide Library

We are still investigating the options, but I wanted to list all that I have
found so far.

Hi,
There is another Presentation Management System: www.Slidebank.com available from Digital Image - with an animated 'Tour' available at http://www.Slidebank.com/Tour

Seems to be entirely drag-and-drop with a browser-independent front-end written in Flash and nothing to install. Cool!

Appears to be available as on-Demand 'Software-as-a-Service', or you can install it on your own server. Hope this helps.
