Powerpoint File detection

Hi there ,

I´m searching for a possibility to detect pps files through their content .
The goal is to filter email attachments with content pps through a binary
search .

Any suggestions how the significant parts of a pps files look like ?

I'm not sure whether this is consistent across all versions, but I think they
have a few "signature" bytes at the beginning of the file. Check a selection
of examples, perhaps.

This will change in 2007, when PPTX/PPSX files are actually ZIP files.
