Powerpoint events

I have a few autoshapes on the slides. I like to jump to a particular slide
by clicking on the autoshapre in the first slide and back again. Is there
anyway to do this by using VBA or some thing.

I appreciate your suggestions. Any example code will help.

You can do this without VBA. Select the AutoShape and right click. Select
Hyperlink. Select the slide you want to jump to. OK your way out. Now when
you run the show, clicking that link will take you directly to that slide.
On the jumped to slide, add a shape and hyperlink it to "Last Slide Viewed".

Want to be a little more spiffy? Put the slide to be jumped to in a custom
show (Slide Show--> Custom Show) and link to the custom show. This gives you
more power in two ways: First, you can jump to a series of slides instead of
just a single one. On the last one you can put a link to end the show.
Clicking that link ends the custom show and takes you back where you came
from. The second advantage of custom shows is that if you select "Show and
Return" when you set the outgoing hyperlink, you don't have to set a return
hyperlink. When you finish with the slide (or slides) in the custom show,
you automatically go back to right where you came from.
