Powerpoint error

When trying to paste an Excel bar graph into PowerPoint
(both are XP professional)I get the following
message. "Microsoft PowerPoint cannot start the
application required to open this object. An error
occured and this feature is not longer functioning." Is
then asks me if I want to repair it. I click OK and go
through the repair tool, but it still doesn't fix it.

Any ideas???

Well, it's not the same error, but you might check
