Powerpoint Downloaded template

I downloaded the Mountain template and when I type in the text boxes my words
are being broken up. For example:

The brown do
g ran over the l
og on Friday afte
rnoon.

I have tried wrapping the text but this did not fix the problem.

Help please!
 
What do you mean you've tried "wrapping the text"?

It sounds to me as if you just need to make the textbox wider.
 
Yes I have tried wrapping. THe text should automatically fit itself.
