Powerpoint document to big?

Hi there, I am doing a presentation for a session and I am needing to get my
file to 4MB. I received the file from another individual and I have
eliminated the pictures etc out of the document and the file is 22 slides and
only words but the size is over 50MB?!? I do not want to type it over again,
but is there something in the powerpoint document that would be taking up all
this room? Thanks!

Did you turn off "allow fast save" (in tools > options >save)?? If not this
may make a big difference!

What John said. To add on, try turning off "Allow Fast Saves", then click
File > Save As. Save the presentation under a different name and see if the
file size is reduced.
