I'm trying to use make the FielSaveAs Dialog popup so i
can acquire a filename and direct the save to particular
loction on our network, but i cannot for the life of me
find any documentation on the PoerPoint Dialogs ??

Are there any?

See my earlier reply. PowerPoint doesn't expose its dialogs to VBA.

You can use Windows Common Dialog API to bring up a standard Windows dialog box
for this purpose, though.

Start at http://www.mvps.org and from there follow the link to Randy Birch's
VBNet site. LOTS of fine example code there.
