Has anyone found a fix for MS PowerPoint crashing when annotating on a
PowerPoint presentation using a Tablet PCs' Ink Annotation's functionalities?
Very frustrating when MS PowerPoint is very unstable and unreliable on a
Tablet PC. Thanks.

What version of PP?  If 2002, have you got the Tablet add-on
(http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=33790048-

Also, how are you invoking the annotation capablity?

Finally, what exactly causes PP to crash?

I'm seeing this too. Its on a Acer C110 TPC. I'm running Office 2003 with
SP1. During the presentation, I select the pen tool from the drop-down box
and start writing on screen. On occation, either in the middle of writing
or when changing the pointer to pen or pen to pointer, it crashes.

I am having the same problem with a Toshiba Protege M200. I run a PP
presentation, use the pen feature (which appears in bottom left of slide),
write on slide, and crash about five minutes after I write. This happens
most, but not all of the time... Very frustrating, since this is major
reason I bought the tablet PC.

I'm running PP 2003 and Windows XP (Tablet PC Edition 2002, Serv Pack 1)

One thing I'm doing is to send a crash report everytime it crashes.
Hopefully, MS will take note once they start receiving these thing and
might release a patch.
