Error message pops up when trying to shift slides in
Slideshow mode. No other problems noted. Tried
reinstalling Powerpoint, but no change.
Running Powerpoint 2000 SR-1

I have the same problem. It started a couple of days

ago. I'm using Office XP Professional. Tried reloading
as well. If you get a response, please let me know.
