PowerPoint Conversions

Hello All,
I have worked on an application (ASP.Net) that
converts uploaded PowerPoint documents into an on-line
slideshow (via the export to Gif's).

Is there any way to export the PowerPoint document into
any format that does not require PowerPoint to run on the
server. For example, scan the file and export to XML (not
sure, thats why i'm asking).

You have the option to publish your PowerPoint presentation to an html file, which does not require PowerPoint to view the show.
