Powerpoint can't open file from floppy disk

I have a problem on powerpoint file save into a floppy
disk. I can't open this file and it prompt this error
message "PowerPoint can't open A:\filename.ppt because
part of the file is missing". But I try to open another
new file and save into the same floppy disk, is no
problem to open the file.

It always happen when the first powerpoint file save into
the floppy disk which is not able to open after. Even I
use a brand new floppy, the same problem occurs.

Any idea how this happen and how to solve it, because I
have a few floppy have the same problem. Please help.....
 
As a rule of thumb, PowerPoint presentations should not be saved directly to
floppy disks or opened directly from floppy disks. Save it to hard disk
first before opening the presentation. The following links might help:
