This seems like something included intentionally but I can't really
see its benefit! If I copy and paste an Excel chart into Powerpoint,
everything is fine. However, if I paste a second chart into the same
page, both are instantly resized. Any idea how I can prevent this
happening?

Thanks!

Paul

(Powerpoint 2003, by the way)

Hi Paul

It is intentional (but annoying) You can turn it off in Tools >AutoCorrect
Options, untick "Automatic Layout for inserted objects" in the "AutoFormat as
you type" tab

That's great - thanks! Is it my imagination or has that also turned
off the annoying feature that tries to put a box around drawing
objects?
