Hi All,

I am trying to display a block of sentences at one time in
Power Point by using animation, but I only manage to
display the sentences one at a time.. I have tried
selecting the whole block of sentences and then setting
the animation but they still appear one at a time.
I have tried instead of pressing 'enter' to
press 'shift+enter' but that didn't work either..

Any suggestions?

Many thanks.

It is always better to mention the version of PowerPoint you are using,
since things change from one to another.

It sounds like the text box it set to 'animate by 1st level paragraphs'.
Each of the versions have different methods for getting to this option box,
but it is in the custom animation area of each. Change the value to 'All at
once' or as one object (or something similar).

Ok, sounds like you want to do a timed animation (instead of a mouse click
one).

Navigate to the animation window
Select Text box
Right click
Select Custom Animation

Set animation
Click on the 'Order and timing' tab
Make sure the box is checked next to the text box
Select the text box from the list
Select 'automatically"
Adjust the seconds to suit

OK out of the dialog boxes

See if this is what you want.
