Hello,

My question is with midi files and PowerPoint. I know that midis are not
embedded. I also know that you create a folder first, then put the midi
inside, then the PowerPoint with a link to this midi. I understand that.
What I don't understand is how it proceeds from there. After I have the
folder and want to email a pps with the linked midi, I can't send the folder
as an attachment, right? So, If I just attach the pps and midi, how does
the folder come in? Can anyone explain how to send the email pps with a
midi? thanks
dee

Yes, you can send the whole folder *if* you zip it. WinZip is a handy and
powerful tool to have in your arsenal You can zip the two files into a single
file and tell the user to unzip them to their Desktop and double click on the
..PPS file. Make it a .PPS file when you save it in PowerPoint and that way when
the end user clicks on it the presentation will open in Slide Show mode.

thank you! That makes perfect sense. This is such a helpful site, and no
one ever puts anyone else down for their level of knowledge(or in my
case-lack of). Thanks!
