I have the home edition of XP but need powerpoint and excel. Can I get them separately and what is an average price range?

Greetings --

Neither the Microsoft Office application suite, nor any of its
individual component applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access,
Outlook, etc.), have _ever_ been "part" of *any* Windows operating
system. They are, and always have been, separate applications, that
must be purchased and installed separately.

I think your original question was- Can you get these
applications and how much do they cost. You can several
versions of the new microsoft office that has excel, but
when it comes to power point they get expensive. MS
office basic edition, with excel, word, outlook is about
$175 to $200. You may be looking at $400 plus to get
power point.
