Powerpoint and e mail

I've tried downloading the viewer to my computer but it still won't open the
e mails I've gotten with powerpoint, can anyone tell me what I have to do in
order for it to work opening e mails with powerpoint.
 
PowerPoint won't open emails.
PowerPoint will open pps or ppt email attachments.
Can you open the attachments if you save to the hard drive first?
If the attachments open, then try the fix that Julian suggested.
