I created a lengthy complex presentation in PowerPoint 2007 using a stock
background. After creating it and showing it to the company, the Execs want
me to change the background to the company standard. The problem is, they
only have a basic blank PowerPoint presentation that everyone uses to build
from. How do I get the background elements from the standard presentation
into main without redoing all 45 slides?

Thanks!

Hi Tracy

There are a couple of different approaches, but probably the simplest is to
open a new presentation based on the company standard then use Home tab ->
New Slide drop down -> Reuse slides -> browse to your presentation -> right
click a slide thumbnail -> 'insert all slides'. Do not tick 'keep source
formatting'. You may need to use the 'reset' button on the home tab to
reapply the layouts to some slides.

How well the above will work depends on how you set up the slides - did you
use placeholders, direct formatting etc.

You may also find Replace -> Replace fonts useful.

If the above is a complete disaster, instead alter your own 'mother' master
(the big one at the top under view -> slide master) to look like the company
master.
