I have a new system that is XP with powerpoint 2007. I have several
powerpoint slideshow projects and when I try to play them, I get a message
that says there is no associated file to open them and they will not open. I
have gone into the folders option to try and set them up but it does not give
me any other options. Any ideas what I am doing wrong? Thanks Totts

If the PowerPoint presentations are PowerPoint95 presentations then 2007
will not be able to open them. You will need to open them in an earlier
version of PowerPoint and resave them in the version your looking at them
with. Then you will be able to open them in 2007

I'm having the same problem but it's with Vista 64bit. Does the same
information hold true for me?

thanks.
