powerpoint 2007: hyperlinking between two ppt's

Question 1:
When I want to hyperlink slide a from presentation x to slide b from
presentation y, everything is ok.
When I want to go back from slide b from presentation y to slide a from
presentation x via the "esc" button on the keyboard I get a black screen?
How can I solve this?

Question 2:
switching between presentations via hyperlinking went in a second within
Powerpoint 2003 but in Powerpoint it takes more than 10 seconds. This is to
long. How can I change this?

Please help me out, because this is ver important to me.....

Are those presentations very large? And is your computer's RAM-memory at the
minimum? Then PowerPoint will need a moment to load the presentation.

Another option: Load both presentations and switch between them using
Alt+Tab.
