Hello!
I prepare presentations with powerpoint2007, using e. g. Calibri fonts
and store them in powerpoint2003 format. When opening on another
computer with powerpoint2003, the fonts are not correct, because no
Calibri is installed on these systems. How can I generate a
tranportable presentation including all necessary fonts etc, which
make it work perfectly on computers without powerpoint 2007?

Many thanks for your help.

On the File menu, click Save As.

On the toolbar (toolbar: A bar with buttons and options that you use to
carry out commands. To display a toolbar, click Customize on the Tools menu,
and then click the Toolbars tab.), click Tools, click Save Options, select
the Embed TrueType Fonts check box, and then do one of the following:
To embed only those characters used in the presentation, select Embed
characters in use only (best for reducing file size).
To embed all the characters in the font set, select Embed all characters
(best for editing by others).

Note font files are quite large!

I would say "can be." Arial Unicode MS, for example, is huge -- 22 MB!

But something like Book Antiqua is only 151 KB. Even if you add the Bold,
Bold Italic, and Italic faces, it's still only about 600 KB. That may or may
not be large, relatively speaking.

Many are much smaller as well. Baskerville Old Face = 53 KB. Rockwell
Condensed = 54 KB. Wingdings 3 = 34 KB.

Just picking a nit... :-)

To pick the nit specific to the case:

Calibri is about 345kb per weight.
