PowerPoint Powerpoint 2007: Button on Quick Access Toolbar disappears

I have created a macro in powerpoint that should run when the user clicks on a button i have attached to the quick access toolbar.
The problem is when i send the file to a user and they open it the button is not there.
I have done this with excel and in order to get it to work I had to convert the file to a zip then edit an xml file, but havent been able to do the same thing with the powerpoint file.

Any help would be much appreciated,
