WHAT did you automate? There are parts which remained unchanged from 2000 to
2003, the file format remained compatible. But there have been a lot of
changes, especially regarding animation and organization charts, in the
newer versions.

IMHO you can't decide in theory whether it will work - just TRY it out!

Kind regards,
Ute

Thanks for the reply.

I have implemented some animation like Moving the text from right to left etc...

Could you please tell me whether this will work on PowerPoint 2003?

Have you seen ppt 2003 yet?
As of ppt2002, animation capability has been drastically improved. There
are several things that you can do with ppt2002 that once was only able to
be done with apps like Macromedia Director, etc.

John,
Old animations can still be applied in the same manner as before in PPT
2003. However PPT2002 /2003 support major innovations in the animation
engine hence to leverage these you will need to make use of the new Timeline
object which is available in them.

Bottom line, your exisiting code should work fine in 2003.
