PowerPoint 2003

I have done pps presentations in the past with PP2000 .. when I put my
presentation together and added sound .. I saved it as a pps .. I then sent
it out but they could not hear the sound .. am I missing a step in 2003? I
really need some help here and pretty quick .. Boston University paper is due
today!

Thanks .. the sound that I put into the file was a wav file .. not sure how
to embed it .. normally I'd just go to add sound and put it where I wanted
and that was it .. just moved up to 2003 (I am way behind the times) so this
is somewhat new to me .. did it in 2000 without any major prolems.

Just check that the limit (to incorporate) is set to 50000 Ko instead of 100
(default)
 
And then delete and reinsert the sound. Changing the setting will impact
future sounds that are inserted, not ones already there.

By the way, this hasn't changed from 2000 to 2003. However, you might have
adjusted the setting in 2000 many years ago and forgotten so when you
upgraded to 2003, the 100KB limit for embedding was set as the default.
