Hello,
one of my students asked me a question. He wants to have a linked object
inside a slide..it should link to another slide. But now he wants the
handsymbol (lthat shows up) to become bigger, if it is over the link and
before one is clicking on it.
Sorry this is not my hometown language, so hopefully you can understand what
I am talking about :)

best regards and if there is any suggestion I would be glad about

Hi, Evi,

Your English is just fine.

Your student must control the cursor in the Windows Control Panel. Start |
Control Panel | Mouse. On the Pointers tab, he can choose a different cursor
scheme from the drop-down box.

I just tried choosing one of the "extra large" schemes, though, and the
arrow pointer got bigger, but the hand didn't. So what your student wants
may not be possible -- or at least it may not be easily possible.

Hello Echo,
first let me thank for your reply....
another question
how to achieve a sort of mouseover effect....
means for example you have a button that has the red color and it should
change to blue if you go over with your pointer, before you click on
it....you sure know these mouse over effects in text or pics on websites?
Maybe there is any tutorial?

Well, PPT doesn't do rollover buttons, really.

You can fake it by setting an Action Setting that happens on mouse over and
hyperlinks to another slide. The other slide would look just like the
original slide -- but the button would have the rollover look instead.

Also in the Action Settings dialog box, there's a "highlight on click" box
you can tick. But you won't be able to control the highlight color -- PPT
does that automatically.

Action Settings dialog can be accessed from the right-click menu or from the
Slide Show menu.
