If you select the textbox, as opposed to the text itself, and add the
hyperlink, you won't see the underline.

Alternatively, you can place a no-line/no-fill box over the appropriate
text and link to that.

You can't remove the underline from hyperlinked text in PowerPoint.
You can draw a rectangle that defines the hotspot you want for the link,
then add the hyperlink to the rectangle and finally give the rectangle no
outline, no fill to make it invisible

Hello,

PowerPoint does not currently have the capability that you are looking for.
Hyperlink text is always indicated with an underline and color change taken
from the color scheme for the slide. You can change the color by changing
the color scheme but the text will always be underlined. There are
workarounds (that others suggested) which require additional effort and not
actually associating the hyperlink with text.

If you (or anyone else reading this message) have some suggestions about
what options PowerPoint should provide for the handling and formatting of
hyperlink text (without resorting to current, difficult to discover,
workarounds), don't forget to send your feedback to Microsoft at:

As with all product suggestions, it's important that you not just state
your wish but also WHY it is important to you that your product suggestion
be implemented by Microsoft. Microsoft receives thousands of product
suggestions every day and we read each one but, in any given product
development cycle, there are only sufficient resources to address the ones
that are most important to our customers so take the extra time to state
your case as clearly and completely as possible.

IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions)
