PowerPoint 2003 icon and files

All of a sudden, my computer can't recognize a PowerPoint file. The file no
longer has a PowerPoint icon associated with it, and I have to right-click
and select PowerPoint from a list of programs in order to open the file. How
can I fix this?

Right click on the filename in Explorer, select properties, and make sure
the "Opens With" has PowerPoint selected.
