Method for extracting text blocks: There are a couple of strategies to do
this; the one I prefer uses a PDF creation tool:
1. Print entire presentation to a PDF file.
2. Open PDF and perform a Save As, choosing Text as the format.
Method for extracting images: I normally just do a Right-Click | Save As
Picture on a case-by-case basis. To do a whole batch of them, I'll bet that
you could save the presentation as a web page--all images would be stored in
a subfolder as JPGs. I have never actually tried that, but I can't see why
it wouldn't work...
