Info Online4u

When I insert a sound from file (ie d:\mp3\x.mp3), and I want to play that
song, I see a "blue" rectangle (= just like the header of a window)
Powerpoint 2003 (all SP's installed) crashes, and sometimes the PC restarts.
This does NOT happen with a .wav-file.
When I do this on my 2nd PC, this works fine.

Where did the MP3s come from?

I saw one sound file -- which had a variable bitrate -- not play completely
in PPT. But it didn't cause spontaneous reboots.

Meanwhile I found the problem.
I had to uninstall my Guillemot Maxi Magic Theater Software, and modified
the registry. Added a MCI-device and bounded it to MPEG.
