Dear people :
This is my problem with powerpoint 2003 installed in windows xp.
As an example having a three slide presentation in kiosk mode :
I run the show with automatic slide transitions: At the end of the
show I put a link to first slide to run again the show, but the slide
transitions stops.
Why ? It never happened to me in previous powerpoint versions.
Please help me. Same presentation on windows 98 works fine.
Should I congfigure something new in powerpoint 2003 or in windows xp
?

Please I will appreciate your prompt answer.
Thank you very much !

If you want a Power point to loop continuously, don't put
a link to the first slide on the last one, go
to "Slideshow", "Set up Show", and check the box that says
loop until 'esc.'.

Dear champ :
That is not my problem.
I´m sorry, but I think you are very helpful.
I´ll try to explain it again.
Sorry about my english, but is not very good.
Í´m experiencing this problem with windows xp. In windows 98 my
presentation runs perfect.
Again :
For instance, having a ten slide presentation. On slide number 5 I
have a button which links to slide 8. So, I click on the button link
and takes me to slide 8 and it starts doing automatic transitions to
slide ,9 and then slide 10 .
Slide ten has no automatic transition.
This works fine for the first time.
But,
then, on slide 10 I have another link to go back slide 5 and do again
the same process, I mean, I click again the link button which takes me
to slide 8, but then, the presentation stops on this slide, it won´t
go to slide 9 and 10.
For the first time it runs pretty well, but on the second time it
stops the transition.
why ?
I did what you told me, but that works for a presentation that is
continuosly on loop. That works, but my problem is different.
Is something with my windows xp ? Should I upgrade something ?
Why on windows 98 SE works fine ?

I really appreciate your help.
