PowerPoint 2003 auto resizing text despite autocorrect being turned off.

Hello all,

I have a document that is a simple 1 page table with
standard masters. Both slide masters are set to 10 point
font. When I create a table and set all fonts within that
table to 10 point, save and exit document. When I reopen
that document half of the font as dropped to 9 point.

I have turned off the bottom four settings in Autocorrect
in relation to text but to no avail.

Is this a known bug? Is there a workaround?

It's not a bug I'm aware of, but that doesn't mean it's not a bug. <g>

I would make sure to go to Help/Check for Updates and install the critical patch for Office/PPT 2003.

What font are you using? I'm happy to try it here and see what happens.

Our IT has disabled the check upgrade function, but our
version number is (11.5529.5703) and the fonts that it is
doing it with is Univers 45, 47 and Arial - I stopped
testing once it did it with Arial.

Ah, then it looks as if you already have the critical patch installed.
